Global Non-profit Social Enterprise

The Burnt Chef Project is a pioneering, global non-profit social enterprise dedicated to eradicating the mental health stigma and building healthier, more sustainable working environments within the hospitality industry. Recognising that four out of five hospitality professionals experience mental health challenges due to high-pressure kitchens, long hours, and demanding workplace cultures, they provide essential, industry-specific education and support services. Through their free 24/7 crisis text service, the e-learning Burnt Chef Academy, and specialised workplace training—such as burnout prevention and Mental Health First Aid—they equip individuals and businesses worldwide with the tools to manage stress, foster psychological safety, and ensure that no hospitality worker has to struggle in silence.
